Who picks the closing attorney in Georgia?

Customarily the party paying for the owner's title policy selects the closing attorney — which in much of Georgia is the seller. It is negotiable, and the contract controls.

Can you handle a file that is already in trouble?

Often, yes. If another firm has stalled on a title issue, send us what you have. We would rather look at it than have you lose the contract.
